Practice mode, Guide overhaul, and improvements to magic and gameplay

Protoria Studios releases an update for Skyfear for Summer 2026, the second major update following Spring’s update. This update brings over 200+ changes and improvements, and adds several features to the game to help new players learn to play.
An all new Practice Mode gives players a sandbox of testing and learning tools, including a new Tracer feature that visualizes projectile attacks trajectory for players to learn about the magic projectile behaviors. A refreshed “How to play” menu is now (now called “Guide”) accessible from anywhere in the game, which gives players more ways to get quick answers. Both Guide and Practice mode also come with in-game currency bonuses that can be claimed by new players, to give players more starting cash for cosmetics.
Additional updates include bug fixes, gameplay fixes, UI changes, combat balance tweaks, and more.

Lead developer of Skyfear says this update builds upon the Spring update, and set’s the game up for further major updates in later 2026, which include new magic types, new content, single player challenge mode, and improved dragon character models.
